Disney World FantasylandWe heard that Disney guests were getting a sneak peek of the New Disney World Fantasyland so we thought we’d try our luck and see if we could too!

Seeing as both of our daughters are huge fans of Belle and Ariel, we knew that we had to at least make a visit to Magic Kingdom to see if they were offering more sneak peeks.  There were a few rides we were going to try to get on and then make our way to the new Fantasyland area.

It was definitely our lucky day! Parts of Fantasyland were indeed open for sneak peeks! The new expansion is amazing to see. Just like we were walking through a castle. We made our way to the first stop which was Belle’s Cottage. We saw the wait time was 40 minutes but not waiting, wasn’t an option. The wait was well worth it. It was unlike any ride..it was an interactive experience. You walk through Belle’s cottage while waiting your turn. Then a group is led in to choose which guest members are going to participate in a fun surprise for Belle. Caleb was chosen to play the part of Chip. They practice their parts and off we go to the library to wait for Belle.

Belle enters and the group puts on a little play with Belle. Yes, the real character! Everyone was so thrilled to see her and get to interact with her. My girls weren’t chosen to be in the play so they didn’t get to be up close with Belle, but all other guests in the play were able to get their picture with her. It was a great experience.

We then headed to see Ariel. We saw that there were actually fast passes for Fantasyland so we headed back to Mickey’s Philharmagic to grab ours. While waiting for our fast pass time, we rode the Dumbo ride and played in the Circus area.

It was finally our time to check out the Ariel ride. Very, very fun experience riding through Under the Sea in our little clam shell boat. It took us through Ariel’s journey. It was very cool.

After the ride, we got in line at Ariel’s Grotto and yes, actually got to meet Ariel herself. Abbie was over the moon as Ariel is her favorite! 😉

Disney’s New Fantasyland is definitely a hit! I’m so glad that we were able to take a tour while we were down in Florida.
