Marriott Downtown Indianapolis

My husband and I had a conference to attend in Indianapolis, IN. This was our first visit to Indiana. We stayed at the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis and the hotel was absolutely wonderful.

Being in the heart of downtown Indy, the Marriott was within walking distance to most everything we went to. I loved that we could park our vehicle and not have to worry about finding our way around or driving in a city that we’re not familiar with.

We took in a game at Victory Field one night, took in the Star Wars exhibit another day and walked to a nice shopping mall as well as local eateries. The hotel also had 2 restaurants and a Starbucks. Everything was very convenient.

We were on the 15th floor and I loved our view. We could see the Victory Field baseball field right from our room. We also spotted a hot air balloon one morning.

The staff at the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis were wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Our room was very comfy and for as packed as the hotel was that weekend, we were not disturbed at all. At other hotels, we’ve been faced with noisy “neighbors,” kids running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night, etc. But this stay had none of that. We rested comfortably, enjoyed everything that was around the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis and really enjoyed our stay.

If you’re looking for a nice getaway in Indiana or need to head to downtown Indy, I’d definitely recommend the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis.
