Medieval Times

Greetings, good gentles and ladies!

Ok, so that’s all the Old English I can come up with. 😉

While vacationing in Florida, we decided to try out The Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. I had been to a show years ago and remembered having a great time. I knew the rest of my family would enjoy it as well.

About the Medieval Times Show

Surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed during our ALL-NEW SHOW. From ringside seats, discover a feast of the eyes and appetite with more action, more fun & more excitement than ever before.

As you thrill to a rousing live jousting tournament, marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times serves a four-course meal fit for royalty.

Hang on to your helmet. The show is about to begin.

We were seated in the back row against the wall. I would say that all seats had a good view including ours but just as a tip, if you have young children, make sure you request a seat at the end or one not on the back wall. All seats are bench style and if you’re in the middle in the back row, there’s no way you’re getting out to use the restroom.

I really considered upgrading our tickets to VIP seating and should have. For the price, I think its a great option. Plus the knights throw flowers at different times during the tournament and my girls would have loved to have caught one.

During the tournament, the audience is served a King’s Feast. The kids LOVED eating without utensils.

We all had a blast! We were on the red Knight’s team. We bought our banners and waved them proudly. Our knight did not win the tournament but we still had fun cheering for him.

There are several Medieval Times locations throughout the US. We visited the Medieval Times in Orlando but would love to take in a show at another location as well. We really enjoyed it and hopefully we can do it again soon!
