A little bit of my Nashville Travels…

I attended my first Blogger conference at the beginning of the year. It was in Nashville. I had never been to Nashville or even Tennessee so it was a great experience for me. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is HUGE and I got easily lost trying to find my way around. Thankfully though, the staff was very friendly, accommodating and helped me find where I needed to be.

The rooms were also nice. Surprisingly very quiet for as many people as were staying there.

You can see a couple of the pictures below. It was like a little city. From boat tours, indoor shopping mall, waterfalls, etc. the hotel was very fun to stay at.

One of the fun bit’s of entertainment at the conference was a Lorax party and I got my picture taken with him.

We had a jammed packed weekend but we also stopped in to visit and tour the Dave Ramsey studio. That was great. They gave us several goodies…I’m looking forward to reading his book!

Thanks to Madame Deals and her sponsor Autism United, some of us went out and had a blast at the Grand Ole Opry! Amazing!! Me and Go Momma Coupons before the show and one of the performances during the show. The pics aren’t the greatest quality but still a great reminder of my trip. We saw several artists including Diamond Rio. When in Nashville, going to the Grand Ole Opry is just one of the things that you MUST do.

A little more entertainment back at the conference…we got to see Joe Jonas and Rascal Flatts perform. That was also pretty fantastic! 🙂

We also didn’t want to leave Nashville without seeing at least some of the city. The last pic, a few of us went to downtown Nashville to do a little exploring. We were on Broadway St. (I think it was) and stopped into Tootsies…we were hoping to catch a glimpse of any local celebs but no luck. It was still fun though.

While I had an absolute blast in Nashville, I was so ready to get home! My kids and husband were waiting for me at the airport and it was so great to see them! I came home and my doggies went nuts! The little one climbed into my suitcase as I was trying to unpack. I think she was nervous I was going to leave again. 😉
