When you go on a vacation, where do you usually stay? Are you a outdoorsy, camping type family or do you usually find a hotel?
Let me just say that while the idea of camping does sound fun, I am way more accustomed to indoor plumbing and cooking via a stove than a grill or campfire. 😉
Orlando Vacation Home
We recently headed down to Florida for our family vacation. We all love Florida and love to hit as many attractions near Orlando as possible. However, this time, I was really looking for some R&R. Yes, you can do that camping or even at a hotel but I didn’t want to have to ruff it and shoving 6 people into a hotel room is still ruffing it to me.
Instead we stayed in a beautiful Orlando Vacation Home with Global Resort Homes. Let me tell you, I would never choose anything other when staying in Orlando. They have all different kinds of properties large and small to accommodate your needs.
The house we stayed in was located in Windsor Hills Resorts. This is a gated community that is close to everything. You could stay right on property and have a wonderful vacation. Windsor Hills Resorts has a clubhouse featuring a huge lagoon-style pool complete with water slide and hot tub. They also have a game room and a movie theater.
We met up with some friends and spent one afternoon right at the clubhouse enjoying the pool.
The house we stayed in was absolutely amazing! It was a single family home with 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, 2 car garage, and a covered lanai with private heated pool and spa. Take a look at more pictures and details of this home on the Global Resort Homes site.
I loved feeling like we were at our home away from home. It had all of the conveniences of home but was even better. We live modestly in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house so we felt like we were living in luxury in our vacation home.
We also were able to save a ton of money by taking a trip to the grocery store vs. eating out or at the parks all of the time. I bought dinners to cook and made our lunches each morning before leaving for the day. For a family of 6, eating out is ridiculously expensive.
I also did laundry while there so we could take home clean clothes vs. dirty. Which means that yes, I was still cooking, cleaning and doing laundry while on vacation but it’s nothing like what I normally do at home. And I still got plenty of the R&R I was hoping for.
I know that our family would never go back to a hotel when we could get a Orlando Vacation Home with Global Resort Homes.
