I had such a great time while I was at the Blissdom conference in Nashville this past week. There was so much to take in. I don’t know that I could sum it all up in one post but I wanted to share a little of that Bliss with you!

First, I want to thank all of my sponsors that made it possible for me to go:

zuuzs

Above & Beyond Hair Salon

Autism United

Country Bob’s

Turning Heads Boutique

I’d love it if you paid them all a visit!

I met so many other wonderful bloggers and some great companies too! There were great sessions, guest speakers and entertainment. They really spoiled us!

The biggest take away that I got from the conference was from John Acuff. He really made me think about my priorities with my blog. If you look at my About Me page, I state right up front that my family comes first and the blog second. But too often, I fail at that and put my blog first. My dream was and is to be a stay-at-home-mom. I’m living that dream but sometimes when I get too caught up in the blog, I might as well be working out of the home.

I love blogging but I can’t let it take over. It’s just a matter of finding that balance. I think we all look for balance in our lives no matter what we do. SAHM, WAHM, working outside the home, no kids, whatever your life is, aren’t we all looking for balance? Making it all fit.

What does that mean for the blog? You all might not even notice a difference. I’m just going to really look at how I spend my time and what I’m spending my time on. Work smarter not harder. 🙂 My blog is still in it’s first year so growing, changing and figuring out the direction I want the blog to go is all part of the process. Thanks for growing with me.
